I recently created a new line of jewelry made with wood and resin. Working with these two mediums gives me a lot of flexibility in creating different shapes and colours. This new line is called Ocean, inspired by a recent stay in Florida where I was able to admire the beautiful scenery and came back with ideas of incorporating this in my jewelry. The beautiful ocean blue of the water and the sand together brings a feel of calm and freedom.

I used reclaimed, ancient burl wood that had a lot of character, the shape reminds me of the mountains. I decided on an oval organic shape and created a color close to the ocean's color. I will continue to create new pieces in this line, I have so many ideas in my head, stay tuned for more. My dream would be to have a nice studio outside on our property in the middle of nature. Nature is beautiful and inspires endless possibilities of creativity.

MY STORY

I started creating jewelry at a very young age, experimenting with macramé and beads. I later pursued courses with a goldsmith to learn how to work with metal. I since developed a love of working with different mediums such as metal, wood and semi-precisous stones.
